Berenice was such a gift in so many ways. The idea of designing our house was always so intimidating for me and made me feel insecure, and so I always put it off and just blocked it out. We hired Berenice for our living room. She came with so much enthusiasm, and was so excited for us from the start. I feel like I learned so much from her and in the end, she actually made me feel more confident in my instincts. She empowered us to choose the style, and give her our vision, and she turned it into our own reality. Whenever she came for deliveries she was so genuinely excited on our behalf. Her crew was also really great with efficient deliveries and careful installations.  Her selections were of such good quality and taste. Now we love to host and take pictures in the living room. We have children and I never thought I would have an elegant, eclectic living room while they are this age. But Berenice gave us a living room that looks like a Pinterest photo but also is comfortable, functional, safe and family friendly. I feel proud that we have given our children and ourselves this beautiful space to grow up in and we couldn’t have done it without Berenice!

Berenice Sanchez?  She is THE BEST. My husband had been an invalid for four years and our bedroom was truly a hospital room. When I lost him I wanted to refresh the room.  By chance, I contacted Cosmopolitan Interior Design and Berenice.  She has done a remarkable job of transforming my bedroom from a hospital room to an oasis of beauty and calm.  I love it.  It is my peaceful place. I was overwhelmed trying to decorate my home and was also apprehensive about hiring someone else to do it as it was a large project. So I did some research and reached out to a few companies just to see if it was feasible, and Berenice completely alleviated all my reservations. She is quick to respond and very good at her craft.  She decorated 11 spaces all concurrently for us picking paint colors, tile, furniture, decor, lighting, and all—completely turn-key. Update 12/15. The final piece of my redecorating arrived today. Supply chain issues kept us waiting, but Berenice kept us updated and got the piece at the house as soon as it arrived. It is the final piece to an amazing oasis created by Berenice. Couldn’t be happier!!!

Berenice and her crew (lead by Robert) were wonderful.  There attention to details was fantastic.  I have a brand new bathroom, bedroom and living room that I love!

Berenice and her team completely renovated my primary bathroom.  Stained wood cabinets were painted bright white, wainscoting was installed to lower third of walls (also in bright white), cultured marble was replaced with white, thinly-veined quartz, and new faucets, towel bars and cabinet pulls were installed.  Also wallpapered the room, replaced large, outdated mirror with two brass mirrors, and added sconces to both sides of the sinks.  The wallpaper turned out great; we had ordered a navy grass cloth, but it was backordered. So Berenice found this vinyl (! yes vinyl!) wallpaper and it just looks great!  I was impressed with the quality of work of her team.  My only complaint is their attentiveness to cleaning up the worksite, and responsiveness to the punch list.  Otherwise, I had a good experience and love my new bathroom!  Thanks, Cosmopolitan Interior Design!

I contacted Berenice for a consultation. She arranged for a time to meet with me at my home and arrived on time. She was incredibly professional and knowledgeable and had fantastic ideas how to help me with redecorating our home. She methodically walked through each room and asked me what I liked, didn’t like and wanted to change. Then she made recommendations that were creative and helpful. She showed me my options and made a follow-up appointment. The only reason why we didn’t move forward with her is because the scope of the project changed with some additional real estate we own that requires a remodel first. If I am in need of an interior designer in the future I would absolutely use Berenice and Decorating Den.

I had a kitchen remodel recently completed (4/2021). I kept the layout of the kitchen, painted the existing boxes, refaced the cabinets, painted the cabinets, added hardware to the doors and drawers, changed out the backsplash, and changed the counter tops. Berenice knew what I had in mind and we moved forward from there. The painters were prompt, kept everything as clean as possible considering it was a remodel, and they did a beautiful job. Robert was the lead on the work and he was very thorough with the project. He apologized for wanting to add another coat of paint and I said I’m fine with another coat of paint and thank you for the attention to detail. The project took four weeks. They returned once for some touch up paint and touch up on the backsplash. Berenice brought me a microwave to use while my kitchen was not usable. Very helpful when you have a 9 year old boy in the house that is always hungry. The only hiccup we had was that the price increased from the original quote because the measurement was incorrect for the counter tops and another slab was needed. They worked with me to get the slab at cost. Overall I had a great experience and Berenice helped make my vision a reality. My kitchen is bright, white, and beautiful. I love walking into my new kitchen in the morning. It is the same size but it seems so much larger now that it is white versus dark brown cabinets with brown and orange counter tops.
