Berenice Sanchez was awarded 3rd Place in the Dining Room category of the 41st International Dream Room Design Competition. This prestigious event is judged by leading interior design journalists from top publications across the U.S. and Canada, including House Beautiful, Veranda, Designers Today, Our Homes Canada, and Elle Décor.
Winners were selected for their design excellence, creative problem solving, and overall presentation. This recognition among such talented peers and esteemed judges is a testament to the power of thoughtful design and creative vision. This space was all about first impressions—the dining room is the first thing guests see when entering the home. With large windows framing scenic views, and a statement chandelier + navy-blue window panels as fixed features, the challenge was to make it all flow beautifully. The stunning dining room came alive with this distinguished live edge dining table which gives the room character and a sophisticated flare. When combined with the contemporary chairs made of luxurious leather seats and upholstered back for maximum comfort this room exudes a modern yet elegant space that invites family and friends to join a delicious dinner. The oversized area rug with neutral but yet playful colors while grounding the space and bringing an earthy vibe also reflects the beautiful art over the credenza. In addition to this already beautiful room and accent wall with reflective diagonal lines in chrome make the chandelier even more attractive.
